Land site on the Vuoksi river close to Vasilievo village

This beautiful nature site is located right on the bank of Vuoksi river, that forms the land plot’s natural border from one side, while from another side it is surrounded by a forest. All characteristics of charming Karelian Isthmus nature can be found in this location: a pine forest, granite rocks and cliffs, marvellous views on the water. The part of the river, that the land plot is facing, is broad and has islands of various sizes. All of that provides a breathtaking scenery.

On one of the nearby islands a tourist attraction that was listed in Guinness World Records  – St. Andrew’s church –  is located. The land plot we offer is also interesting not only because of the beautiful views – it has a historical value. In the Middle Ages these lands were on the trade routes of two competing states – Velikiy Novgorod and Sweden. Nowadays the remains of an ancient town Tiverskoy that was a Novgorod’s fortress built on the ruins of a Karelian settlement, are just a few kilometers away from the land site.

Additionally, the land plot would be of special interest to water sports and water transport enthusiasts, as being located on the Vuoksi river’s shore this land site allows to travel to Vuoksi, Sukhodolskoe and Ladozhskoe lakes.
